My Life on the Old Ouachita River
The memoirs of Charlie Wyant
My Life on the Old Ouachita River is a collection of the memories penned by Charlie Wyant, four short years before his death.
This posthumous chronicle of his memoirs captures the life of this fascinating man. At age 87, Charlie Wyant got down from his saddle just long enough to write down the memories of his life spent on the banks of the Ouachita River, in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana.
While his handwriting was difficult to decipher at times, his memories were clear. They have been faithfully published with no corrections to his words, or expressions, and with only sporadic punctuation to provide clarity, when needed.
An inspirational, touching chapter has been added, written by Charlie's beloved wife, Cora Lee Childress Wyant, who sat down before her tragic, unexpected death, to document the miracles and blessings in her life.
It is a privilege to publish, print and present My Life on the Old Ouachita River by Charlie Wyant.
